Cory always does the carving because he does it the best and has the patience to do it. This year is a pirate ship with the skull in the center. Are you scared?

Last night for Family Night we of course carved our pumpkins, well, just one of them. Hey, someone has got to watch the baby. Camille was in on it too and we started on the back deck. It was a little chilly which is why she is all wrapped up.

McKenna would not get her hands dirty but Kelly loved the slimy feeling and even played with it in the bowl afterwards.

YES! Camille can crawl! I really am not that excited because pretty soon she will be fast and we will be chasing her around the house to see what she is into. In these pictures she is starting to explore and crawl under the excersaucer.

She is such a happy baby!

This is McKenna's playgroup last Thursday. It was at our house and they took a break from the hard playing to have a snack on the couch. They play really good together and McKenna loves going.

Like Mother-Like Daughter

Yes, it is true, I caught Kelly eating the remains of the cookie dough that I had made. She said it is just sooooooo good! This is totally something I would have done and still do. The dough is so much better than the cookies. When she saw me with the camera, she of course had to make a great face.

Pumpkin Picking and a Picnic

Saturday Cory and I took the girls to Jacquemin Farm to do some pumpkin picking. It was a beautiful sunny day but VERY windy. We took a hayride out to the field to pick our own pumpkins. A family on the ride was nice enough to take another family picture. I believe this is number 2. The girls thought the hay was nice and soft to sit on.

There were a few blow-up things for the girls to play on. This was a haunted house. The only way McKenna would go in is if I went too. I don't think I was supposed to but I went in anyway. She still did not like it too much. Kelly loved everything.

They loved the hayride and LOVED being with daddy. It wasn't quite as windy on the ride.

After the pumpkin picking we went to a nearby park. We had packed a lunch of peanut butter and jelly and tuna sandwiches, pretzels, water, lemonade, and KitKats. There were too many bees around so they did not get to play very long.

Camille in the Kitchen and Cats under the deck

Camille is getting to the age where when everyone leaves the room she starts to whine after a few minutes. So that she could be part of the action while we were getting dinner ready, daddy set her in the corner and she discovered her newest toys......measuring cups and Tic Tacs. She is so cute.

Two days ago Kelly discovered 2 kittens under our deck. They are about a month old and so cute. There is an older cat that comes around and one that lives next door so I asked the neighbors and they said it had been a few weeks since they had seen the babies and did not know where the mom had put them. They were scared but we got them out and brought them next door so they can find a home for them.

Banana Bread and Halloween Party

Friday night the girls and I made banana bread together. They get excited to pour things into the bowl and there is enough room on the counter for them to sit and watch. Yes, it was cold enough that night to wear these PJs.

Saturday afternoon was the Doctor's Hospital Intern/Resident Halloween Party. I did not get too many good pictures but I will get more on Halloween. Some of my blogger friends have better ones.

Camille is sitting by McKenna in the front. McKenna is the penguin and Camille is the witch. Kelly is in back as a cheerleader.

McKenna was not too happy for most of the party. She warmed up near the end.

Daddy's Work

Today was our first visit to daddy's work. We went to eat lunch with him and almost missed him. We waited for 40 minutes and were about to leave but McKenna wanted to go around the halls one more time. Right when we got back from our walk (about 4 minutes long) he came up behind us. The girls were so happy. Kelly loved the hospital food and McKenna was just happy daddy made it. I think this is our first picture together with all of us.

The girls put on a ballet for me yesterday. I am telling you.......they LOVE those clothes.

Kelly's Dance Class

We signed Kelly up for dance classes! Lately she has been dancing all around the house and trying to be a cheerleader. A friend of ours (thanks Leah) put their daughter in a class that is a combo class. They get to do Jazz, Tap, Gymnastics, and Ballet. They do something different each month and have a recital in June. We thought that would be perfect to get a taste of it all. She is so excited. She started last night doing gymnastics and had so much fun. It is a 45 minute class which is just enough for the little ones. I think she was mostly excited about the clothes. She loved trying them on and posing in the mirror. She was a little disappointed that she didn't get get to wear her skirt for gymnastics but the time will come.

I still have not figured out how to write on the side of a picture but one day I will. This is the girls this morning right before we took Kelly to school. I tried to get Ashlee (the one I babysit) to get in the picture but I guess she is camera shy already at 5.
They looked so cute I just couldn't resist a picture....... or 2 .......or 3. McKenna just can't resist the faces.

Great Grandma Grams and Papa

Great Grandma Grams and Papa came to visit. They were the first ones from Riverside. They got here Friday evening after having a little tire trouble and getting stuck in OUR traffic in a town they did not know.
After giving them a tour of our home we went out to eat at El Vaquero which ended up being really good and really fast.(thanks Kelly B.)
They spent the night so we could have some time together and in the morning we got ready and went over to Wal-Mart to try and get the tire fixed. Kelly and McKenna were so excited to have them here that they wanted to go to Wal-Mart with them so we made it a family trip. After Wal-Mart they were on their way to see other friends and relatives. We hope they have a great time on the rest of their trip.

Grams got to play with Camille a bit in the morning. Camille was showing off her skills.

Later today, daddy tried to get a little bit of conference in with Kelly and Camille sitting on his lap. What a great dad!

"Is it time for my group?"

It started with Camille getting up on her knees and then McKenna had to get on top of her like she tries to do a lot. Kelly joined in so I told them to stay there while I got the camera. It is fun to see how alike and different they look from each other.
There are 3 other moms from church that have 3 year olds or soon to be 3 year olds. They started a group and it is just the four of us. We each take turns one day a week watching all four girls for just 2 hours so the other moms can get things done that they would much rather do with out all of their kids with them. Today was McKenna's first day and she kept saying "Is it time for my group?" She really liked playing with the other girls.

Have you ever frozen gogurts? Well, I did and they thought they were popsicles. They were loving them so of course I had to take a picture. I can tell I am going to get carried away with this blog stuff. Until next time....

Park Day!

Today was park day. We did not go with the support group because we had to be back to pick up Kelly at 11:30 and it would be pointless to get there and have to pretty much turn around to go home. Instead we went to a local park where we played for a while. This park had tons of rocks that McKenna was enjoying. She doesn't care where we go as long as she can play. It was a little bit windy so she HAD to where her jacket.

While all of the playing was going on, Camille was OUT for most of the time. She did not feel good yesterday and last night. She is a bit better but was very tired as you can see. She will be back to her old self in no time.

Our First BLOG

So everyone I talked to had a BLOG. I had no idea it was the thing to do. Of course I had to be cool and popular so here we are. I will have to start carrying my camera around so you will all know what we are up to over here in OH-IO!

Here are 2 of the girls. I need to get more pictures. What crazies. They love it here but can't wait to visit California and eat at our favorite places.
