For the past week McKenna has not been feeling too well. She had a fever and a cough for a few days. Two of the nights, she coughed for an hour straight. She took a nap 3 days in a row. You know she did not feel good if she WANTED to nap. She moved the Hello Kitty humidifier right next to her bed so it could "help her feel better".Today she is doing much better and was much happier than a few days ago.
On Monday we went for an ENT follow-up visit and luckily her ears were not infected but they are still full of fluid. We are going to go ahead and set up an appointment for her to get tubes. We put it off and tried to see if it would clear up on its own but after 5 months it looks pretty much the same.
Wish her luck!
I am not looking forward to the surgery but I KNOW it will help her to feel better in general.

I'm so glad McKenna's starting to feel better. I think the tubes are a good idea. I wish I would have been more aggressive with Greg's treatment after months of fluid.

Tubes are no big deal. Jacob got them along with his tonsils removed and THAT was a big deal but I took care of a girl about McKenna's age right after she got them put in and she was just fine but she did get tired and want her mommy later in the day. We love you McKenna! PS. get to WalMart and buy the multi colored wax plug stuff for bath time afterwards!

What do they do, you know stuff like that.
Any official statements from Dr. Christensen?
Oh and I hope McKenna feels better...don't forget to tell me about the tubes.

I hope McKenna is feeling better! I didn't know she was sick. Poor girl. I'm sure the tubes will help a lot.
