We started a tradition 3 years ago for Christmas Eve. We have a family dinner, picnic style, on the floor in front of the fire. I don't know about how that will work in California but we will give it a try. Our menu always seems to change but it is always in the same location.
Cameron is not old enough to join us on the floor. MAYBE next year.
After dinner we got a little camera happy!
These days I am lucky if I get one shot of each kid!

ah, so cute. will you have a fireplace in CA? my kids are going to get a complex because all their friends move out of state (or to the opposite side of the world!)
